When trying to watch movies offline, the movies play for seconds then freezes.

I have ios7 and an ipad 2. I deleted the Vudu app and reinstalled it, and then I was able to download Iron Man 3 successfully without getting the error message. It played back fine when I checked it. Then we went on our trip and when my wife tried to play it back in the car, the movie wouldn't play. Now we are home and back to our wifi connection, and it works again.

What is the point of allowing customers to download a movie if you must be online to watch it? I need to be able to download it so I can watch it offline when I do not have access to a wifi connection. Can't currently do that with the Vudu app. Originally posted by tomandshell View Post. Check your router and all the wires. Are there any pending downloads in the Microsoft Store? That is a common reason for delays. Usually, Microsoft Store downloads apps simultaneously but that may not be the case always. Open Microsoft Store and click on menu to open Downloads and updates.

Check the date and time on your computer to make sure that it is correct. If not, that could be the reason why Microsoft Store is functioning erratically. In fact, wrong date and time often break apps that connect to the internet. You can also set it to automatic or manual, depending on which one is not working. For a computer, Windows can be pretty dumb sometimes. Consider this. It will begin the download and then stop halfway when it runs out of space. Well, you know what to do now.

It is known to help with drive related errors. Open Settings again and click on Storage. This is where you can change your default download location, often C: drive, to a different drive. You can troubleshoot a lot of built-in features and apps.

It is possible that the servers are either down or facing some glitch. Patience is the best virtue in moments like these. Just wait it out.

One thing you can do is visit Downdetector website and check if App Store servers are down or facing an outage. See if it is down in your country and what kind of problems is it currently facing. This is an old trick that still works sometimes. Start a download on App Store, pause or stop it immediately when it begins and then start it again. This can jumpstart things for you. Not many people know this trick but you can clear cache in iPhones too.

Open App Store and tap 10 times on any one of the five buttons at the bottom of the screen. The key here is that you have to tap the same button 10 times. It will clear old App Store cache data, giving you a fresh start. Check if your Wi-Fi is working correctly. Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or use mobile data to verify.

Pop the Control Center to make sure that mobile data and Wi-Fi options are enabled and Airplane mode is disabled. Disable VPN or proxy if you are using one on your iPhone. Geo-restrictions can mess up App Store downloads. Are you trying to buy an app and failing to do so? In that case, you need to check your Apple payment methods.
